Everybody’s talking…
About the Terroir Series by Milk & Honey, and all I can hear in my head is that John Lennon song that begins with “Everybody’s talking…”
So I looked it up—and okay, the lyrics don’t really fit.
But guess what popped up? Coincidence? I think not!
John Lennon’s last album… was titled Milk and Honey.
So yes, let’s talk terroir. 😄

I actually already mentioned this series a couple of weeks ago, but it kind of got buried in a post filled with all kinds of bottles, and on that magical day when I met Tal and David and tasted the series, I didn’t quite realize how powerful it was—or that it hadn’t even been released in Israel yet. So it didn’t get its own spotlight.
Can you blame me? I’d just had a few bold-strength drams, and well, emotions were flying… you don’t mess with a lovey-dovey heart post-cask-strength. 😅

So here’s the real shoutout!
I tasted the Terroir Series with Maksim on May 2nd at a well-worn but legendary spot in Brooklyn:
The Travel Bar, where David and Tal hosted a M&H tasting, and—what do you know?—the Terroir Series was there.
Everyone here has already written beautifully about the flavor profile, so I’ll keep it short and add my take on the American market:

Tal, we’re burning with anticipation!
There’s no doubt in my mind this series will capture the hearts of whisky lovers across the U.S. The concept, the history, the heritage, the Israeli story—and most of all, the flavors. To me, it’s a definite step up: sharper, more elegant, consistently across the lineup.

My personal favorite was Arad—there was something softer about it that really resonated with me.
The Israeli and Jewish community here is literally thirsty for bottles like this.
We want it here, and we want it yesterday.
